I have been considering a master keyboard a long time. Most keyboards and synths do not provide a true piano feel keyboard. The Roland E-70 and E-86, for example, have a organ-feel keyboard with just a spring system but no physical mass movement, like the piano mechanism has. Being used to playing a mechanical piano, I missed that particular feeling with the electronical instruments.
My Roland G-800 offers an improved keyboard, which feels a bit more like a piano, but still....
I visited a friend some time ago, who owns a similar Yamaha digital piano. It took just a few hours of him and me to play to make me decide to pay another visit to Muziekhuis Arons and to discuss the subject. Now that I have it, I can only say: Terrific!
